Lock’em up!! That’s the only thing I can think of when it comes to protesters blocking traffic, especially to an airport. ABC7 Chicago reported that “Pro-Palestinian protesters blocked the roadway entering into Terminal 1 at O’Hare Airport Monday morning. All lanes were blocked on I-190 west between Bessie Coleman Drive and the airport. Shortly after 9:30 a.m., Chicago officials said traffic on I-190 was resuming.”

Protesters aren’t the smartest people out there. They do things that affect normal people who have no control over whatever the protesters are mad about. What is some random person going to the airport going to do about the pro-Palestinian’s requests? Normal people can’t do anything to help the protesters, so it doesn’t ever make sense to protest normal folks or stop traffic. If the protesters were serious, then they’d fly to Israel or Palestine and do their protests there. Go protest there, where you can make a difference. Stopping traffic and protesting normal people just makes everyone hate protesters and whatever they’re yapping about.

To make matters worse, it looks like the Chicago police did barely anything to drag these people out of the street. It got so bad that people started ditching their cars on the road and walking to the airport with their luggage. Shame on the cops for letting this happen as long as it did. You’re the police, do something. Lock them up! And you know the Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is useless. I can’t believe they found someone worst than Lori Lightfoot.
