We previously reported about George Stephanopoulos and what he said to Nancy Mace in a fairly repulsive interview. Nancy Mace stood up for herself and stood her ground against Stephanopoulos, but former President Donald Trump had a problem with what George said. Trump has filed a lawsuit against ABC and George Stephanopoulos under the grounds of defamation. It’s unclear if Trump has a winnable case, but it’s definitely possible. NY1 reported on Trump’s lawsuit, saying the following in a news article:

The lawsuit was filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Miami. It names ABC, ABC News and Stephanopoulos as defendants. Trump is seeking a jury trial and unspecified punitive damages, court costs and other relief the court “deems just and proper.”

The suit alleges Stephanopoulos made the false claim several times “with malice or with a reckless disregard for the truth” during a March 10 interview with Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., on “This Week With George Stephanopoulos.
