King Charles is back at Buckingham Palace after spending some time at his royal estate in Sandringham, UK. He and Queen Camilla were seen arriving by helicopter earlier today. Charles started treatment for cancer last week, then took a break at Sandringham for a few days.
According to Hello! Magazine, the king returned to London to keep up with his treatment. He chose to visit Sandringham for privacy. A source said that Sandringham is a place where Charles can find peace. He likes having his tea while looking at the gardens. Even when he stays at Sandringham with guests around, he usually stays upstairs.
The royals haven’t said much about Charles’s health. They revealed his cancer diagnosis after he had a procedure for an enlarged prostate, but they haven’t said what kind of cancer he has or what stage it’s at.
Buckingham Palace first said: “When the King had surgery for his prostate, doctors found another health problem. Tests showed he has cancer. The King has started treatment and won’t do public events for a while. But he’ll still handle important work like usual.”
We know that Prince Harry came back to the UK last Tuesday. He had a private meeting with his father, the King, for the first time since Queen Elizabeth passed away. The King told his closest family members about his cancer himself.
