Reba McEntire Sings The National Anthem At Super Bowl LVIII
Reba McEntire had the honor of singing the National Anthem at Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday (February 11). She was the tenth country singer to perform the Anthem before the “Big Game.”
Additionally, this is the fourth consecutive year that a country artist has performed the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. Eric Church performed in 2021, Mickey Guyton had the honor in 2022, and Chris Stapleton performed the Anthem in 2023.
Stapleton’s performance was hailed as one of the best National Anthem performances of all time.
Of course, if anyone could live up to Stapleton’s performance, McEntire would be that person. Fans were already excited about her performance before she even took to the field.
McEntire was also excited about the performance. In her post announcing the news, she said:
“I’m honored to be part of something as big and historic as the Super Bowl coming to Las Vegas for the first time!“
