Lionel Messi superfan Suzy Cortez is a world record holder thanks to her body art dedicated to the Argentina icon – she even has a tattoo in a rather delicate area
There is no bigger way of proving your devotion to a beloved sporting figure or club than getting inked.
Tattoos of club crests and initials are commonplace among football supporters. But one Lionel Messi fanatic has taken her fandom to extreme levels with a tat in a rather intimate place.
Last year, Suzy Cortez broke the world record for the number of tattoos of the Argentina icon, who now plies his trade with Inter Miami in the MLS. Cortez, a former winner of Brazil’s Miss BumBum contest, has been an avid Messi supporter for years.
One of her latest ink jobs is of Messi’s signature, the number 10 from his national team kit and the three stars he and his international team-mates now boast following their World Cup triumph in 2022. It has been placed in a rather delicate area, on the side of her curvaceous behind.
Cortez said: “My promise is to get a super tattoo and I’m going to celebrate the title in the city of Rosario where Messi was born and I’m going to draw some Messi fans on my social networks that I’m going to take with me.”
Speaking about her body art in 2021, she claimed it had made men “fail” in bed in the past. “Incredibly, I’ve been through embarrassing situations because of the tattoo,” she revealed.
Speaking about her love of Messi, the Brazilian beauty said: “Looking at Messi’s face on my body makes men fail at the right time.
“I already have Messi’s face tattooed under my abdomen, which I did when he won the best player in the world award [Ballon d’Or] for the sixth time, and I intend to get the same tattoo he has on his left leg.”
