An actor who was in the movie “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” Christian Klepser (known as Christian Oliver), and his two daughters died in a plane crash. They were on vacation in the Caribbean, near the island of Bequia, part of St. Vincent when the plane went down into the sea, and everyone on board lost their lives.
Christian Klepser had roles in movies like “Indiana Jones,” “Speed Racer,” and “The Good German.” Originally from Frankfurt, Germany, he moved to the US as an adult, starting as a model and later becoming an actor after taking acting classes.
The police in St. Vincent and the Grenadines reported that the 51-year-old actor and his two daughters, Madita (10) and Annik (12), were in a small plane. Unfortunately, the plane started having problems and eventually crashed into the ocean. The plane, owned and operated by Robert Sachs, also didn’t make it, and he lost his life in the crash.
The flight had just taken off from J.F. Mitchell Airport in Paget Farm, Bequia, heading to St. Lucia. The crash happened shortly after midday on January 4. Even though the authorities haven’t disclosed the exact cause of the crash, it seems that issues started right after take-off.
In a statement, police revealed that all four bodies had been recovered from the aircraft by fishermen, divers and Coast Guard personnel.
“The RSVGPF expresses condolences to all who are negatively affected by this tragic incident,” the police department said.
Rest in peace to all those who lost their lives.
